Discussion on China on P Gurus

This was a very interesting discussion I had with Mr Sree Iyer on understanding China from a different non military non economic perspective. The Q&A session indicated to me that we need to study far more and increase our awareness of the country in case we have to deal with it more effectively.

Sir, Genghis Khan & Kublai Khan were not islamic. They were animist and buddhist respectively and the Chinese were never ruled by an islamic ruler. I think there's this common misconception of associating “Khan” with islamic tribes as many of the central asian tribes/regions that were decimated by the great Khans took the honorific of their mongol conquerors and were/became islamic over the course of time but, the mongols (of mongolia) stayed animist/buddhist.
